Ghazal

jiski qismat mein kare peer ka deedar khuda

Shah Turab Ali Qalandar· Ghazal· 7 shers

This Sufi ghazal highlights the supreme divine blessing of beholding the spiritual master (Pir), which liberates the seeker from yearning for worldly distractions. It also poignantly contrasts the purity of spiritual devotion with the pitfall of ego and self-worship, which prevents a person from experiencing true enlightenment.

Why would anyone not fall at the feet of such blessed fate, through whose hand God grants deliverance by the call to Ali?
Why would anyone not fall at the feet of such fortunate destiny, through whose hand God grants deliverance and overcomes difficulties by means of Nad-e-Ali?
