The person behind Sukhan AI
Chirag Kansara · Ahmedabadi

Sukhan AI began as one reader’s obsession. Chirag Kansara, who writes as Chirag Ahmedabadi, is a lifelong admirer of Mirza Ghalib and has spent years reading and listening to everything he could find about the poet. A software and AI engineer by profession, he kept returning to the same gap: the classical ghazals, nazms and geets he loved existed as text, but composing and recording them as songs in a live studio was impractical at any real scale.
When generative AI made high-quality composition and vocals possible, he built Sukhan AI to do exactly that. The library today holds about 5,000 ghazals, nazms and geets from classical poets across languages and cultures — Urdu, Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi and Bengali — each with its original script, meanings and AI-sung renditions in Classic, Bollywood and Gen Z styles.
