Ghazal
Gila Nahin Hai Hamen Apni Jan-gudazi Ka
गिला नहीं है हमें अपनी जाँ-गुदाज़ी का
The ghazal explores the acceptance of deep and complex wounds inflicted by love. The poet states that he has no complaint about his own betrayal, nor about the wounds caused by the beloved's tongue. It describes a state of love that is a mix of extravagance and pain, where even the pain itself has become a habit or desire.
