टक गोश रखियो ईधर साथ उस के कुछ ख़बर है
The river of my heart has flowed to my lips today; keep watch over me, for there is news of him/her.
The river of my heart has flowed from my heart to my lips today; keep watch over me, as there is news of him/her.

O you lovers of vanity, who are triumphant today,
Tomorrow, when you see, you will find neither crown nor head.

Oh, my beloved, who is the owner of the heart's deepest sorrow,
It has been an age since you ignored me, standing near.
Oh, my companion/traveler, who possesses the heart's deepest sorrow, tell me—how long has it been since you ignored me while standing nearby?
