1
What can I say, I go embracing the fire of separation,
My chests are so burning that they feel like they are consumed.
What can I say, I embrace the fire of separation, my chests are burning as if they are consumed.
2
The nectar of my heart is not shed by my soul,
My tears fall upon my face like pearls.
The nectar of my heart does not leave me by my soul, but my tears fall upon my face like pearls.
3
This is the truth of the path of devotion, otherwise, the name and message wander everywhere.
This is the reality of the path of devotion; otherwise, the name and message wander everywhere.
4
With the scent of Hyacinth, Jasmine, and the mark of disgrace, I do not possess,
The trees of the garden of fidelity bloom and wither away.
I do not possess the scent of Hyacinth, Jasmine, and the mark of disgrace; the trees of the garden of fidelity continue to bloom and wither.
5
Lost in the wonder of love, the eyes wander from the picture,
The ones who leave, we too may just depart.
The eyes wander from the picture in the intoxication of love, but if those people leave, we too may depart just like that.
6
From those who draw the curtain of separation, ask them,
They give away hearts, and they let their own minds wander.
Ask those who draw the curtain of separation; they give away hearts, and they let their own minds wander.
7
From the memory of your beauty, tears stream from your eyes,
If we all wander beneath some garden's sway.
From the memory of your beauty, tears stream from your eyes, if we all wander beneath some garden's sway.
8
See what arrives in love, oh, now, like a mountain peak,
We too continue onward, planting our tent on this path.
Let's see what arrives in love, like a mountain peak. We too continue onward, settling down on this path.
9
From the dust-bath of the world, 'Mir', we have lost our senses; / Our grime is so deep that we weep into the earth.
From the dust-bath of the world, 'Mir', we have lost our senses; / Our grime is so deep that we weep into the earth.
