Having cried, I broke the spring of the stranger's heart,
The vein of the cloud was ripped by the stranger's whim.
Having cried, I broke the pressure (spring) of the stranger's heart, and the vein of the cloud was ripped by the stranger's whim.

Lest the clever fingernails touch,
This chest, which is the closeness and sorrow of the stranger.
Lest the hand of clever fingernails touch this chest, which holds the proximity and sorrow of the stranger.

The tracks of bloody tears have flown away,
Autumn has arrived where spring was once stranger.
The signs of bloody tears have flown away, and autumn has arrived where spring was once a stranger.
4
Your plea is madness upon me, that you did not place the weight of strangers upon my head.
Your plea is madness upon me, that you did not place the burden of strangers upon my head.

From the heart, I visit the withered-liver's grave,
Where can the beloved's grave be found?
From the heart, I visit the grave of the withered-liver, but where can the beloved's grave be found?
6
Oh, how quickly this era of companionship passes,
For finally, the livelihood of a stranger has begun.
The Shayar says that this era of companionship will also pass quickly, since the livelihood in a foreign land has finally begun.

O Mir, let the sorrow of the lap not remain,
Nor should the thorns of the stranger remain.
O Mir, let the sorrow of the lap not remain, and may the thorns of the stranger also depart.
