1. ખબર પડી કે છૂટી જાશે આજકાલમાં ગાંઠ, હૃદયને ભૂલી ગયા, વાળીને રૂમાલમાં ગાંઠ.

   Meaning: It was realized the knot would soon unravel,They forgot the heart, tying a knot in a kerchief.

2. તમારી યાદના ફેરાઓ કેવા મંગળ છે! હજાર બાંધીને છોડી દીધા ખયાલમાં ગાંઠ.

   Meaning: How blessed are the turns your memory takes, so bright! A thousand knots in thought, I've tied and then set right.

3. જીવનની દોરી ઉભયની બહુ નિકટ થઈ ગઈ, પડી જવાની હશે એમાં આજકાલમાં ગાંઠ.

   Meaning: The threads of both their lives have drawn so near,A knot will form in them, today or tomorrow, it is clear.
