Hairat Se Hove Paratav-e-mah Noor Aaina — Mir Taqi Mir
Meaning
Seeing you emerge in white attire amidst the moonlight, even the veil of the moon's light becomes astonishing.
Explanation
This beautiful couplet captures the breathtaking visual effect of the beloved. Mir Taqi Mir paints a scene where the moonlight itself seems to be reflected in a mirror, purely because the beloved appears in white attire. The image is one of ethereal perfection—a figure so dazzling and radiant that it momentarily stuns the very reflection. It’s a testament to the unmatched beauty that transcends mere sight.
