मेरी नवा-ए-शौक़ से शोर हरीम-ए-ज़ात में
This ghazal expresses the intense passion and fervor of a lover, describing the noise and turmoil caused by their love within their own inner self (haram-e-zaat). हूर ओ फ़रिश्ता हैं असीर मेरे तख़य्युलात में
मेरी निगाह से ख़लल तेरी तजल्लियात में

गरचे है मेरी जुस्तुजू दैर ओ हरम की नक़्शा-बंद
मेरी फ़ुग़ाँ से रुस्तख़ेज़ काबा ओ सोमनात में
My journey, O Haram, is sealed, a blueprint of the Kaaba and the Somnath, from my yearning song.
Though my search (journey) for the sanctuary (Dair) and the sacred place (Haram) is mapped out, it is in my yearning song that the Kaaba and Somnath are revealed.
