مُلّاں قاضی راہ بتاون، دین دھرم دے پھیرے ایہہ تاں ٹھگ جگت دے جھاڑ، لاون جال چوفیرے

کرم شرع دے دھرم بتاون، سنگل پاون پیریں ذات مذہب ایہہ عشق نہ پُچھدا، عشق شرع دا ویری
The action may be bad, but the path of righteousness is shown; the nature and religion are not questioned by this love, for love is the enemy of all.
The action will show the righteousness; the forest wind passes. This love does not question caste or religion, for love is the enemy of all.

ندیؤں پار اے ملک سجن دا، لہر لوبھ نے گھیری ستگُر بیڑی پھڑھی کھلوتے، تیں کیوں لائی اویرے

بُلّھے شاہ، شوہ تینوں مِلسی، دل نوں دے دلیری پریتم پاس تے ٹولنا کِس نوں؟ بھلّیوں سکھر دوپہرے
