The verses

1. ('કાનુડાને ઘેર્યો વનરાવન ગોપીએ' એવાં ગીતો પરથી નવો રચેલ ઢાળ) ઘૂઘરો ઘૂમે છે બેનીબાના હાથમાં

   Meaning: The ghunghroo spins in Beniba's hand.

2. બેનીબાના ચિતડાનો ચોર ઘૂઘરો ઘૂમે છે બેનીબાના હાથમાં.

   Meaning: The thief of Beniba's very heart,A rattle twirls within Beniba's hand.

3. તોય કો દી' ખૂટ્યાં ન ખીર! જાણે માનસરવરનાં નીર. - ઘૂઘરો.

   Meaning: Yet never did the kheer run out!As if Mansarovar's waters, beyond all doubt.

4. ઘૂઘરાને મેલ્યો માડીએ આકાશથી બેનીબાને ધાવણ દેવા!

   Meaning: From the sky, Mother sent the rattle down, so little sister could be fed!

5. સ્વર્ગ કેરી વાતો કે’વા. - ઘૂઘરો.

   Meaning: To narrate the tales of heaven. - Ghūghrō.
