1. (રેખતો) આહા પૂરી ખીલી ચંદા, શીતળ માધુરી છે સુખકંદા. આહાo

   Meaning: Ah, the moon has fully bloomed,Its cool sweetness is a source of pure bliss.

2. પાણી પર તે રહી પસરી રૂડી આવે લેહર મંદા. આહાo૧ શશીલીટી રૂડી ચળકે, વળી હીલે તે આનંદા. આહાoર

   Meaning: Upon the water, spreading, comes a lovely, gentle ripple. The beautiful moonbeam sparkles, and it sways with joy.

3. ઊંચે ભૂરૂં દીપે આસમાન, વચે ચંદા તે સ્વછંદા. આહાo૩ નીચે ગોરી ઠારે નેનાં, રસે ડૂબ્યા નરમદ બંદા. આહાo૪

   Meaning: High above, the blue sky shines, within it the moon, so free and bright, Ah!Below, a fair one cools the eyes, in love's rapture Narmad, her servant, drowned, Ah!
