O Udho, The Heart Is Not Ten or Twenty
In this poem, the Gopis gently explain to Uddhava that they possess only a single heart, which has already departed alongside Krishna, leaving none behind to meditate upon any other divine form. Consumed by the agony of separation, their senses have grown lifeless, and their breath remains solely tied to the hopeful anticipation of his return.

Without Keshav (Krishna), all the sensory organs have become completely inert just like a body without a head. Yet, tied to the hope of his return, breath lingers in the body with a desire to live for millions of years.
