Ghazal

Sher Ke Parde Mein Main Ne Gham Sunaya Hai Bahut

शेर के पर्दे में मैं ने ग़म सुनाया है बहुत

Mir Taqi Mir· Ghazal· 5 shers

The ghazal suggests that the poet has narrated much sorrow before the 'lion' (the audience/critics) and has been made to weep by various people. He expresses that he is now enduring immense pain and distress without any specific reason. Finally, he concludes that the heart of love is not tied to anyone, yet outwardly appearing sorrowful brings him great satisfaction.
