Jo Dekho Mire Sher-e-tar Ki Taraf
जो देखो मिरे शेर-ए-तर की तरफ़
Look towards my lion-like self, not towards the jewel. My heart and gaze are only for that enchanting one. Love has set this city ablaze, and everything here points toward that single attraction.

हर इक है सो उस फ़ित्ना-गर की तरफ़

मोहब्बत ने शायद कि दी दिल को आग
धुआँ सा है कुछ इस नगर की तरफ़

इक आशोब है उस के घर की तरफ़
