Ghazal
Haal-e-dil Meer Ka Ro Ro Ke Sab Ai Maah Suna
This ghazal describes the anguish of a lover's heart and the wandering on the path of love, reminiscent of the style of Mirza Ghalib. The poet attempts to narrate his heart's condition, but the beloved or the world fails to comprehend it. The ghazal expresses the depth of pain and unseen love.

O Meera, all the sorrow of the heart, by weeping, tell it to the beloved; at night, tell the wondrous story of the soul.
O beloved, tell all the sorrow of the heart by weeping; at night, tell the wondrous story of the soul.

If I reach the path of love, having lost all strength, I fear
That even Khizr will call me astray, saying I am misguided.
If I reach the path of love, having lost all strength, I fear that even Khizr will call me astray, saying I am misguided.

Has anyone passed through my sorrow, my dear, in the manner of these? You have not heard my condition, but you have heard my distress.
Has anyone passed through my sorrow, my dear, in the manner of these? You have not heard my condition, but you have heard my distress.

Are all of you in a sleep of heedlessness, O Mir?
I saw them unaware, whom I had warned.
Are all of you in a sleep of heedlessness, O Mir? I saw them unaware, whom I had warned.
