Ghazal
The ghazal speaks of the arrival of the season of love, pleading with the beloved to manage the poet's emotional state. The poet expresses a desire to be bound within the atmosphere of love and argues that he does not need to speak about his condition. Furthermore, he asks for divine grace over people's hearts, hoping that his sorrow and lamentations will also affect them.

O friends, has the season of roses arrived, make some arrangement for me;
Or rather, in the shade of all flowers, now bind me with chains.
O friends, has the season of roses arrived? Make some arrangements for me. Or rather, in the shade of all flowers, now bind me with chains.

What is the use of offering help, it is my right, it is there
I am sitting silent, if only someone makes a speech.
What is the use of offering help? It is my right, it is there. I am sitting silently; if only someone makes a speech.

The stranger's lovely, graceful bow draws the eye so much,
But for this great sin, friends, let the arrow pierce his nose.
The stranger's beautiful and playful bow draws much attention, but for this great sin, friends, let the arrow pierce his nose.

The Lord of hearts has altered the direction of my heart's flow,
You too, please cast a spell of sighs and lamentations upon these hearts.
The owner of hearts has changed the direction of my heart; you also cast a spell of sighs and lamentations upon it.

The heart is wounded, the wounds are ahead of us all, / Do not bring us closer, O lover, in the midst of these sorrows.
Our hearts are already wounded, and all our hearts are broken. Do not deceive us further, O lover, in the midst of these sorrows.

If you could compose couplets like those from whom the Beloved is delighted,
Or make us weep and lament with the memory, O Mir, do something like this.
If you could compose couplets that delight the Beloved, or make us weep and lament upon remembering, O Mir, please do something like this.
