Imagine life as a vast, turbulent ocean, full of challenges and uncertainties, often called the 'ocean of existence' or 'Bhavsagar'. The only way to cross it safely is by boarding a sturdy vessel. Here, that vessel is "truth" or "Sat". And who is the skilled navigator, the expert boatman, who can steer this boat through all storms to the other shore? It is the "Satguru" – the true teacher or spiritual guide. This verse teaches us that with the unwavering boat of truth and the expert guidance of a true guru, we can successfully overcome all worldly illusions and attain liberation.
