Like the street performer's monkey, this creature of the mind stays with us, keeping itself with us by showing various dances.
Kabir uses the monkey of a street performer to beautifully illustrate the mind's restless and unpredictable nature. The monkey's many 'dances' symbolize the constant flurry of thoughts, emotions, and desires that keep us occupied. The Shayar suggests that this mind is like a lively pet, always performing for us and never leaving our company. It is a profound observation on the inherent playfulness and attachment of the human psyche.
