Ask a dervish of no fault about the tale of the heart; may God inform you of your true station.
This profound couplet speaks to the deepest secrets of the human heart. The poet advises us to seek the mysteries of the soul not from those who are attached to worldly life, but from a 'darvesh-e-be-galeem'—a carefree, detached mystic. It suggests that true wisdom about our own station or purpose can only be found when we approach the truth with a spirit of surrender. It is a call for inner clarity, achieved through detachment.
