Ghazal

Zikr Mera Ba-badi Bhi Usay Manzoor Nahin; Ghair Ki Baat Bigad Jaaye

ज़िक्र मेरा ब-बदी भी उसे मंज़ूर नहीं

Mirza Ghalib· Ghazal· 10 shers· radif: नहीं

This ghazal poignantly expresses the beloved's disdain, where even the poet's negative mention is unwelcome. It delves into philosophical introspection, questioning the nature of existence and asserting the profound, ocean-like depth within oneself. The poet distinguishes his path from that of Mansoor, embracing inner truth without external confrontation.
