Whenever your shadow falls upon the river, you make a fish's scale shine like a radiant moon.

What an exquisite compliment to the beloved's transformative beauty! The poet imagines the beloved casting their shadow over a river, where even the tiniest, ordinary fish scale beneath the ripples begins to gleam like a luminous full moon. It beautifully captures how the mere presence of someone you adore can turn the most modest, overlooked detail into something celestial.
