In this couplet, 'सौंपे' signifies committing or entrusting all of one's affairs and worldly responsibilities into the hands of God. It highlights the act of resignation or surrender (tawakkul) on the part of the lover or devotee. However, despite having entrusted everything, the speaker remains anxious due to the absolute detachment (be-niyāzī) of the divine.
