Word Meaning
बे-आब
be-aab
Meaning
Without water, dried up, lusterless, or writhing like a fish out of water.

Usage
In classical Urdu poetry, it is most celebrated in the compound 'maahi-e-be-aab' to signify the unbearable, convulsive torment of romantic separation.
