Firāq
Meaning
Separation, absence; also the pen name of poet Firaq Gorakhpuri.
Detailed Meaning

Usage
A central thematic concept in the classical ghazal capturing the pain of distance from the beloved, and famously immortalized as Firaq Gorakhpuri's poetic pseudonym.
