Detailed Meaning
Literally denoting the act of placing a garland or yoke, 'taqleed' came to mean emulating or unreflectively adhering to a predecessor's example or authority. In this verse, the poet uses it to declare that he will not copy the impatient, shallow temperament of Mansur Hallaj by shouting out the divine secret.
