धीरे-धीरे रे मना , धीरे सब कुछ होय। माली सींचे सौ घड़ा , ॠतु आए फल होय॥

The verses

1. धीरे-धीरे रे मना , धीरे सब कुछ होय। माली सींचे सौ घड़ा , ॠतु आए फल होय॥

   Meaning: O heart, gently know, all things take time to bloom. Though the gardener waters a hundred pots, the fruit comes with the season's room.

2. कबीरा ते नर अन्ध है , गुरु को कहते और। हरि रूठे गुरु ठौर है , गुरु रुठै नहीं ठौर॥

   Meaning: The man, Kabiira, is blind, he says it to the Guru. He says the Lord is upset, and the Guru is the place. But the Guru is not upset, and there is no place.

3. पाँच पहर धन्धे गया , तीन पहर गया सोय। एक पहर हरि नाम बिन , मुक्ति कैसे होय॥

   Meaning: Five watches passed, three watches went by, and I slept. Without the name of Hari, how can liberation be attained, in a single watch?

4. कबीरा सोया क्या करे , उठि न भजे भगवान। जम जब घर ले जायेंगे , पड़ी रहेगी म्यान॥

   Meaning: What can Kabir do, if he sleeps, and does not wake to God? When Yama takes him home, the scabbard will remain.

5. शीलवन्त सबसे बड़ा , सब रतनन की खान। तीन लोक की सम्पदा , रही शील में आन॥

   Meaning: The virtuous one is the greatest, a mine of all jewels.The wealth of the three worlds, in virtue it indwells.
