માંહોમાં દુ ર્ઘર્ષ અગાધ્ય

The verses

1. માંહોમાં દુ ર્ઘર્ષ અગાધ્ય અખા જીવને નાવે સાધ્ય.

   Meaning: Within themselves, a formidable, unfathomable depth,O Akho, for the soul, it remains unattainable.

2. અનુભવી આગળ વાદજ વદે ઉંટ આગળ જેમ પાળો ખદે ;

   Meaning: To the experienced, arguments are but words, Like a weak hedge a camel disregards.

3. આવી નગરમાં લાગી લાય પંખીને શો ધોખો થાય;

   Meaning: A fire broke out in the city, What sorrow does it cause the bird?

4. ઉંદર બિચારા કરતા સોર જેને નહિ ઉડ્ યાનું જોર;

   Meaning: The poor mice make a fervent sound,For no strength to fly is found.
