The verses

1. અટળ વસ્તુને અહોનિશ ધાય ટળને બાંધણે બાંધ્યો ન જાય;

   Meaning: Towards the eternal it rushes day and night,By transient bonds, it cannot be bound.

2. ટળમાં રહે અટળશું પ્રીત અખા એવા એવા પુરુષની થાશે જીત.

   Meaning: In the transient, who loves the steadfast,O Akha, such a person will surely triumph.

3. ઓળખ્યા ચોર ને સાવચેત થયા વળતા તે તો કૂ શળ રહ્યા;

   Meaning: The thief they knew, and grew alert;Thereafter, they remained unharmed, unhurt.

4. અચેતને ચોર લુટી ગયા ભાઇ સાવચેતને ઘેર આનંદ વધાઇ.

   Meaning: The careless, oh brother, by thieves were plundered,But joy and good tidings in the watchful's home are rendered.
