અધ્યાત્મ ન જાણે આત્માથકી

The verses

1. અધ્યાત્મ ન જાણે આત્માથકી નોખો નોખો કહે છે બકી;

   Meaning: He knows not the spirit from the Self's true sway,Yet babbles it is separate, in a misguided way.

2. પોતે ટળીને સઘળું પ્રીછ વાટે ચાલતાં આંખ મ વીંચ;

   Meaning: Subdue the self, and all things come to know,Walk on the path, and let your eyes not close.

3. સગુણ નિર્ગુણ એ બે છે જોગ પોતે ટળશે તેને પડશે ભોગ.

   Meaning: Saguna and Nirguna, these two are but a yogic state,He who transcends them, will meet a glorious fate.

4. પોતે ટળ્યા તે પ્રીછ્ યા જાણ તેને શોભે સઘળી વાણ;

   Meaning: Know this: he who has transcended the self, truly understands; To him, all speech is becoming.
