The verses

1. નહિ મહે નત વેઠે નહિ શાય વંદે વિશ્વ એ ફ્ળ મહિમાય;

   Meaning: Who toils not, nothing does attain;The world reveres that fruit's great glory.

2. જાય સમુળો સઘ સંસાર કરતાં આત્મતત્વવિચાર;

   Meaning: The whole of worldly ties will cease,Upon contemplating the Self's true peace.

3. કર્મ કરતાં ન આવે છે ક અખા વિચારે ન મળે શેષ.

   Meaning: By performing actions, nothing comes forth; Akha, by mere thought, the ultimate truth is not found.

4. અખા વસ્તુ વિચારે બ્રહ્મ અંતરભૂત જાણવા કર્મ;

   Meaning: Akha ponders, Brahman is the essence true,And karma's nature, inherent, we must view.
