તેને પોતા સરખા કર્યા

The verses

1. તેને પોતા સરખા કર્યા અખા ઘેર ઘેર ઉપદે શ ન કહ્યા.

   Meaning: He made them like himself; Akha did not preach from house to house.

2. અખા એમ હલકાથી ભારે હોય આત્મજ્ઞાન મૂળગું તે ખોય.

   Meaning: Akha, thus from light, it becomes heavy,The root of self-knowledge, thereby, is lost.

3. સસાસિંગનું વહાણજ કર્યું મૃગતૃષ્ણામાં જઇને તર્યું;

   Meaning: A ship of a hare's horn was made,And it sailed into a mirage;

4. વંઝ્યાસુત બે વહાણે ચડ્ યા ખપુષ્પનાં વસાણાં ભર્યા;

   Meaning: The barren woman's son, two ships did he board,With sky-flowers' spices, his vessels were stored.
