আজি বাংলা দেশের হৃদয় হতে কখন আপনি,
তুই কি আমার কাছে আসিবি, ওরে ঝরণা-ধারা॥
Oh stream, when will you spontaneously emerge from the heart of Bengal and come to me?

আজি এসেছে ভোর, কোথায় নিদ্রা, কোথায় স্বপন,
পাথর সরায়ে উঠব আমি, করব ভুবন-জয়॥
Today, dawn has arrived, leaving no room for sleep or dreams. I will remove all obstacles, rise up, and conquer the world.

সুদূর থেকে ডাক আসে মোর, যাই যাই যাই,
এ বাঁধ ভেঙে ছুটে চলব আজ, আর থামব নাই॥
A call comes to me from a distance, and I am ready to go. Today, I will break free from all restraints and rush forward without stopping.

পাগলা হাওয়ার বাদল-দিনে, পাগল আমার মন,
চলতে চলতে চলব আমি, নাই থামার ক্ষণ॥
On a day of crazy wind and rain, my mind is restless. I will keep walking, for there is no moment to stop.
