In this world, there is a spectacle, every day and night, a show; / If one has seen beauty, this world is a strange spectacle, you know.
In this world, there is a spectacle, every day and night, a show; / If one has seen beauty, this world is a strange spectacle, you know.
2
The clamor of the Day of Judgment still echoes at the door,
But the spectacle will only begin when my friend leaves home.
The noise of the Day of Judgment still rings at the doorstep, but the real spectacle will begin when the friend leaves the house.
3
The flame of sorrow is kindled, and it is pleasing to you,
To watch the spectacle of lovers burning, oh, see now.
The fire of sorrow has flared up, and it is pleasing to you to watch the spectacle of lovers burning, oh, look now.
4
Though Mir Khwari's beloved was pleased by the tune,
Yet alas, we shall watch the show of sorrow's boon.
Although the tune pleased Mir Khwari's beloved, alas, we shall witness the spectacle of sorrow.
