Ghazal

तू ऐ असीर-ए-मकाँ ला-मकाँ से दूर नहीं

Allama Iqbal· Ghazal· 5 shers

This ghazal suggests that the captive of 'every place and nowhere' cannot be far from the beloved's presence. Everything—from the battlefield of death to the essence of knowledge—is intimately connected to the beloved's memory and proximity. The speaker emphasizes that true existence and understanding are inseparable from the beloved.
