ता हम को शिकायत की भी बाक़ी न रहे जा

ता हम को शिकायत की भी बाक़ी न रहे जा
सुन लेते हैं गो ज़िक्र हमारा नहीं करते
So that no room remains for us even to complain, / They listen when I am spoken of, though they never speak my name.
So that we are left with no room even to complain, they do not mention us themselves, but they listen when others speak of us.

'ग़ालिब' तिरा अहवाल सुना देंगे हम उन को
वो सुन के बुला लें ये इजारा नहीं करते
O Ghalib, we shall recount your plight to the beloved; yet that she calls for you upon hearing it—we make no guarantee.
O Ghalib, we will narrate your condition to the beloved, but we take no guarantee that they will summon you upon hearing it.
