Ghazal

शिकवे के नाम से बे-मेहर ख़फ़ा होता है

Mirza Ghalib· Ghazal· 13 shers· radif: है

This ghazal poignantly describes a lover's predicament where the beloved grows angry at the mere mention of a complaint and responds to grievances with further cruelty. The lover, though filled with unspoken sorrows, finds expressing their pain only intensifies the oppression. It paints love's path as slow and arduous, much like a journey with blistered feet.
