معنی
मय-ए-ख़ाम کے لیے اپنی آرزو برقرار رکھنا، اور جام کے خط پر گفتگو کرنا؛ کیونکہ سیاہ بالوں والوں کے ہاشر میں نہ حساب ہے اور نہ کتاب ہے۔
تشریح
यह शेर मिर्ज़ा तक़ी मीर का एक गहरा फ़लसफ़ा है। शायर कहते हैं कि आरज़ू को ज़िंदा रखना चाहिए और जाम से बातें करनी चाहिए, क्योंकि क़यामत के दिन किसी भी गुनाह का न कोई हिसाब होगा और न कोई किताब।
