Editorial and Corrections Policy

Effective and last updated: 26 September 2026

1. Scope and separation of content

Sukhan AI separates the classical archive, editorial explanations, AI-generated interpretations, and community submissions. A community work is not presented as part of a classical poet’s canon. AI-created audio is an interpretation of text, not an historical recording.

2. Poetry text and attribution

Archive pages identify the poet and the work whenever that information is available. We preserve original-script text alongside available transliterations or translations. We do not knowingly assign uncertain or disputed work as certain; reported attribution issues are reviewed and corrected.

3. Sources and citations

Where a source edition, manuscript, public archive, or contributor record is available in our data, it should be shown with the work. We do not invent book titles, page numbers, publication dates, or scholarly endorsements. Older records without a stored source note are improved as verifiable references become available.

4. Meanings, translations, and explanations

Meanings and translations aim to make poetry accessible while preserving ambiguity where it matters. Explanations may be AI-assisted and can contain interpretation rather than settled fact. Readers should consult primary texts and scholarly editions for academic or textual-critical work.

5. AI audio and creative tools

Sher Se Sargam and AI Radio create new musical interpretations. They do not claim to reproduce a poet’s voice, an original performance, or the only valid reading of a poem. User-selected mood, style, and voice choices shape the generated result.

6. Community submissions

Community poets remain responsible for the originality and rights of submitted work. We may remove impersonation, harassment, unlawful content, spam, or material that violates rights. Community content is labeled and kept distinct from the curated classical archive.

7. Corrections and transparency

Material corrections should be made without silently preserving a known error. When a correction changes attribution or meaning substantially, the underlying record and its updated timestamp should be revised. Minor spelling, formatting, and transliteration fixes may be made directly.

8. Rights and takedown requests

Rights holders can request review of text, images, audio, or community content. Please identify the exact URL, the work concerned, your relationship to it, and the requested action so the team can investigate efficiently.
