معنی
میں وہی بات کہتا ہوں، وہی بات سمجھتا ہوں جو حق نے مقرر کی ہے؛ میں نہ مسجد کا محبوب ہوں اور نہ تہذیب کا فرزند۔
تشریح
शायर यहाँ अपनी ज़ुबान को किसी सामाजिक तहज़ीब की क़ैद में नहीं मानते। वो कहते हैं कि मेरी बातें तो वक़्त और तक़दीर की ज़ुबान से निकलती हैं, किसी सीख या फ़र्ज़ंदियत से नहीं।
