معنی
شاید گِردے پہ رنگ آیا قیدِ قفس سے شاید؛ یا شاید گلستان کا داغ اب جگر میں خون ہو گیا۔
تشریح
यह शेर बताता है कि क़ैद और तन्हाई के अनुभवों ने वजूद पर अपनी छाप छोड़ दी है। आँखों के आँसू अब महज़ आँसू नहीं हैं, बल्कि दिल पर गुज़रने वाले एक गहरे दाग़ की निशानी बन गए हैं।
