માંડવા મુહુરત વેળા ગાવાનું ગીત

1. મોતીડે છાયો રે માંડવો; જોવા ઉલટ્યું સૌ શેહેર, લખમીની લીલા લ્હેર, મોતીડે છાયો રે માંડવો;

   अर्थ: With pearls, the canopy is graced,The whole city came, in haste,To witness Lakshmi's joyous tide,With pearls, the canopy is graced.

2. જોવા જનના જથા મળ્યા, જોઈ હૈડે હરખાય, ફરી ફરી જોવાને જાય, મોતીડે છાયો રે માંડવો,

   अर्थ: Crowds gathered to gaze, their hearts delighted by the view,Again and again they went to see, the pavilion shaded by pearls.

3. જોવા લાયક જુગ્તિનાં; ત્યાં તો દીસે તમામ; કારીગરીનાં બહુ કામ, મોતીડે છાયો રે માંડવો;

   अर्थ: Worth seeing are all clever devices; there they all appear, Many works of craftsmanship, the pavilion covered with pearls.

4. નિરખી મંડપની માંડણી, ઉરથી આશિષ એ ઠામ, દે છે દલપતરામ, મોતીડે છાયો રે માંડવો.

   अर्थ: Observing the pavilion's grand design,From his heart, blessings on that place he'll assign.Dalpatram bestows, oh, the canopy, by pearls adorned, divine.
