પોતે ટળ્યા વિના શા કામના

1. પોતે ટળ્યા વિના શા કામના એતો અકૃ તે વધારી કામના;

   अर्थ: What good are desires, if the self is not gone?They only multiply cravings, to no good end.

2. મૂળ સ્વરૂપે જે કોઇ થયો તેને ભણ્યાનો સ્વભાવ ગયો;

   अर्थ: Whoever reached their primal state, their core, No longer felt the urge to learn anymore.

3. અખા એમ સમજ્યા તે મહં ત તેને સત્‌ચિત્‌આનંદ વદે વેદાંત.

   अर्थ: Akha, those who understand this are indeed great saints; Vedanta proclaims Satchitananda to them.

4. વેદાંતે વાત વિચારી અસી ને શ્રોતા વક્તા સમજ્યા જસી;

   अर्थ: In Vedanta, the matter we thus pondered, And speaker and listener understood it so.
