अशआर

1. જેમ બાધું જોતાં એકજ ઝાડ વિગતે જોતાં ભાંગે જાડ્ ય;

   अर्थ: When seen as a whole, it's a single tree, but observed in detail, its oneness ceases to be.

2. રંગ સ્વાદ પત્ર ફળ ફુ લ સદગુરુ મળે તો ભાંગે ભૂલ.

   अर्थ: Color, taste, leaf, fruit, and flower,If a true guru is found, mistakes lose their power.

3. વિધિસહિત પરબ્રહ્મને જાણ ત્યારે અખા ટળે ભવતાણ.

   अर्थ: Know the Supreme Brahman with proper method, Then, O Akha, the suffering of worldly ties will cease.

4. આત્મલક્ષમાં નહિ પર આપ વણસંતાને કે નો બાપ;

   अर्थ: Not for self-gain, nor for others' grace,Who is a father without a child's embrace?
