Ghazal
बर्शिकाल-ए-गिर्या-ए-आशिक़ है देखा चाहिए
This ghazal vividly depicts the overwhelming sorrow of a lover, comparing their incessant tears to a rainy season so intense that even garden walls seem to bloom from the moisture. It explores the profound and inescapable nature of love, arguing that any claim of detachment from the beloved is false. Ultimately, it emphasizes how love's grip is so strong that even symbols of freedom, like the cypress, remain captivated by the garden of affection.

With love for the rose, false is the claim of detachment's art,The cypress, though free, is captive to the garden's heart.
The claim of detachment is false if there is love for the flower. The cypress tree, despite its freedom, is a captive of the garden.

Asad, these frantic tears, they spring forth with the season of rose; My eye that pours like rivers, the waterspout where the garden grows.
