जहँ गाहक ता हूँ नहीं , जहाँ मैं गाहक नाँय। मूरख यह भरमत फिरे , पकड़ शब्द की छाँय॥ 99॥ कहता तो बहुत मिला , गहता मिला न कोय। सो कहता वह जान दे , जो नहिं गहता होय॥ 100॥

معنی

جہاں خریدار نہیں ہے، میں نہیں ہوں۔ جہاں میں خریدار نہیں ہوں، میں نہیں ہوں۔ یہ احمق فریب میں بھٹکتا ہے، الفاظ کی سائے کو پکڑتا ہے۔ جو بہت کچھ کہتا ہے، اسے کچھ نہیں ملتا۔ اسے وہ کہنا چاہیے جو اس کے پاس نہیں ہے۔

تشریح

Kabir is ishaara kar rahe hain ke zaati baat-cheet aur fazafayel alfaaz ki chhaon mein kho jaana ek bewajood koshish hai. Woh keh rahe hain ke asal samajh tab aati hai jab koi haqeeqi zaroorat ho. Is Shayar ka nazariya hai ke sirf bolna kaafi nahin; insaan ko woh hi kehna chahiye jo uske wajood ka hissa ho, na ke sirf zahiri baatein.
