1. લાડો ચતુર ચીતારાને વિનવે; જો તું આજ રાજનગર જાય, ચતુર ચીતારા તને વિનવું;

2. તે તું છબીલીને છાની રીતે આપજે; મારા હાથનો લખેલો હાથો હાથ, ચતુર ચીતારા તને વિનવું.

   अर्थ: That, to the beautiful one, you give secretly; The hand-print written by my hand, O clever painter, I implore you.

3. ખરા મિત્રની પરીક્ષા તો ત્યારે પડે; જ્યારે કંઈ પણ પડે તેનું કામ, ચતુર ચીતારા તને વિનવું;

4. ઘણા સ્વારથિયા મિત્ર તો સંસારમાં, દીસે દુનિયામાં દલપતરામ, ચતુર ચીતારા તને વિનવું.
