Bulleya Ki Jana Main Kaun

अशआर

1. نہ میں مومن وچ مسِیتاں نہ میں وچ کُفر دِیاں رِیتاں نہ میں پاکاں وچ پلیتاں نہ میں موسیٰ نہ فرعون

   अर्थ: I am not in the ways of the monotheists, Nor in the ways of the infidels, Nor in the ways of the pure, Nor am I Moses, nor am I Pharaoh.

2. نہ میں اندر بید کِتاباں نہ وچ بھنگاں نہ شراباں نہ وچ رِنداں مست خراباں نہ وچ جاگن نہ وچ سون

   अर्थ: Neither within the ved scriptures, nor the books, Nor in the thoughts, the wine, nor the ruinous deeds. Neither in the intoxication, nor the broken homes, Neither in the waking state, nor in the sleep.

3. نہ وچ شادی نہ غمناکی نہ میں وچ پلیتی پاکی نہ میں آبی نہ میں خاکی نہ میں آتش نہ میں پون

   अर्थ: I am not a marriage, nor am I a joy-bringing thing, I am not a pure, beautiful, lovely thing. I am neither water nor am I earth, I am neither fire nor am I wind.

4. نہ میں عربی نہ لاہوری نہ میں ہندی شہر ناگوری نہ ہندو نہ تُرک پشاوری نہ میں رہندا وچ ندون

   अर्थ: Neither am I Arabic nor am I Lahori, Neither am I Hindi nor am I Nagauri. Neither am I Hindu nor am I Turk of Peshawar, Neither do I belong to any single place.

5. نہ میں بھیت مذہب دا پایا نہ میں آدم حوّا جایا نہ میں اپنا نام دھرایا نہ وچ بیٹھن نہ وچ بھَون

   अर्थ: I neither found the religion, nor did I reach the state of existence; I neither established my own name, nor did I sit in thought or in contemplation.

6. اوّل آخر آپ نوں جاݨاں نہ کوئی دوجا ہور پچھاݨاں میتھوں ہور نہ کوئی سِیاݨاں بُلّھا! اوہ کھڑا ہے کَون

   अर्थ: First, know yourself completely, No other person can recognize you. From others, no one is truly wise, Bulla! Tell me, who stands there?
