The body is stained with poison, and time has washed it away. Kabir says, 'O Guru, with soap, there must be some pure water.'

Kabir suggests that even after the stains of life's poison (lau) and the washing away by time (kaalkh) have occurred, the soul still requires the cleansing touch of the Guru's soap. This emphasizes that mere external actions or the passage of time are insufficient for true purification; spiritual guidance is absolutely essential. Kabir’s insight teaches us that only through genuine knowledge can the grime of the mind be washed away.
