Opposite your nature, through the purchase of wealth,
Subdue the station of color and fragrance.
Opposite your natural disposition, by acquiring wealth, subdue the realm of color and fragrance.

You have lost your own self,
Search for the thing that is lost.
You have lost your own self, and search for the thing that is lost.

The atmosphere is of the stars, so don't deny it,
You too should achieve this station of desire.
The atmosphere is like the stars, so don't deny it; you too should attain this station of desire.

The nymphs of the garden's banks are calling out,
To lift the wheel of roses and lilies.
The nymphs of the garden's banks are calling out, to lift the wheel of roses and lilies.

If it is not distasteful, though nature
Do that which could not be done by that one.
If it is not distasteful, though it is nature, do that which could not be done by it.
